All around the world, we celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 25th, Christmas Day. The birthplace of Jesus is Bethlehem in Judea. But what do we really know about this town and location?

But Bible scholars are less sure about specific details involving the setting. Again, we know from Luke’s gospel that Jesus was not born in an inn because there wasn’t room for his parents (Luke 2:7).
